*New Dye Question* (I think)
If I mix dye A with dye B, then with dye C I will get dye X.
If I mix dye B with dye C, then with dye A, will I still get dye X? Or, does the order which you mix dyes affect the outcome of the dye? Thanks |

Well if a,b,c are all different dyes and you mix a and b you will get one color and a and c you will get a different color, if a,b,c are diff. colors.

I wouldn't have thought so ... you could do a quick test buying cheap dyes from the trader, say yellow, orange and green ...

Im fairly certain the order doesn't matter as I dont have a set order for mixing my dyes and they turn up the same.
EDIT: Sorry about the clarity in usually Last edited by zim3031; Jun 15, 2005 at 10:11 PM // 22:11.. |

i don't think order matters. it's based on the color, not the order.

Sorry to burst your bubbles but order does matter sometimes, my armor if a leet purple color and its red blue and green if I mix blue and green then red it turns out differently(or maybe I'm just crazy and I did it wrong 1 time) :/
For 2 color combos obviously it wouldn't mind you |

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but I was trying out what other people said, and tried mixing dye remover into some orange dye. To my surprise, it worked and I got a mixed dye that looked red in the vial. I kind of randomly mixed only orange (cheap) and dye removers and the final color was kinda light-red/pinkish. I was just wondering if anybody knows how this works, or if they've tried it with other colors. Also, (this is probably know) I can dye my bags (that hold inventory) if I want to .
Edit: And this is another strange thing. I added orange dye into the dye remover itself, and it says dye remover, color : mixed. Don't have enough spare money to keep testing, but I'm curious as to other results. Mixed Dye Remover Last edited by DragonStriker; Jun 16, 2005 at 12:45 AM // 00:45.. Reason: Adding Picture... |

What the....
Oh by the way, you may already know this, but just to let you know that depending on what colour your clothes are, that too mixes with the dye colour (e.g. Mesmer usually has green clothes, mix that with a red dye and you get purple, i.e. the dye *doesn't* go over the existing dye - which is what I hoped when I first used it lol ) |

order doesn't matter. Certain colors are dominant and others are recessive.
